Mehdi Zehaichi

Mehdi Zehaichi serves as an Investment Advisor for EMEA, based in Casablanca. As a strategic consultant, he specializes on the development of non-performing loan portfolios and enforcement strategies, with a specific geographic focus on Africa.

He brings over 15 years of experience in strategic advisory and the (re)structuring of complex performing, stressed and distressed transactions across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mehdi has advised on transactions spanning a broad range of sectors – including banking, insurance, real estate, telecommunications, forestry, transportation, and oil & gas. His expertise covers fundraising, balance sheet optimization, restructuring solutions, and strategic advisory for both private and public sector clients.

Prior to his advisory engagement with Omni Bridgeway, Mehdi spent over five years as a member of Omni Bridgeway’s Pricing & Structuring and Distressed Assets teams. Previously, he held senior management roles across the Middle East and Africa, where he advised C-level executives on fundraising, debt restructuring, financial optimization and African expansion strategies.

Mehdi is fluent in Arabic, French, English and Spanish, and has a working understanding of Dutch, Portuguese and Italian.
