Jacob Kerkin

Jacob is an Investment Manager in Omni Bridgeway’s New Zealand office, with responsibility for due diligence and management of funded cases.

Jacob joined Omni Bridgeway in November 2023 and was formerly a Senior Associate at Simpson Grierson in Auckland. He has over fourteen years’ experience in commercial litigation at top law firms in New Zealand and London. 

Jacob has expertise in a broad range of commercial disputes and alternative dispute resolution processes. While in private practice, Jacob was regularly involved in large and complex commercial disputes involving breach of contract, director’s duties, mis-selling of financial products, insurance, construction and class actions.    

Jacob holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago.
