Kees de Visser

As Chair of the Investment Committee, Kees de Visser is responsible for overseeing the assessment of funding opportunities and our commitments to funded cases and portfolios in EMEA.

Kees brings extensive expertise in litigation including, collective redress, arbitration and in recovering judgments and arbitral awards against sovereigns, semi-sovereigns and corporate entities worldwide.

Before joining Omni Bridgeway in 2016, Kees was a practising lawyer admitted to the Dutch Bar at top-tier firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, handling large and high-profile cross-border litigation and enforcement matters and leading the firm’s private international law team.

Kees holds master’s degrees in private law, business law and Dutch notarial law from the University of Groningen, a Ph.D. in private international law. and is (co-)editor-in-chief of the Netherlands journal of private international law. He is fluent in Dutch and English and proficient in French, German and Italian.
