We are seeking an experienced and ambitious (Senior) Investment Analyst to join the Cologne, Germany team.

Function description

In addition to Omni Bridgeway providing access to justice, our shareholders and investors wish for a good return on their investment. This is where you play a key role. You will be working in (international) investment teams and bring in financial and economic know-how. Together with the team you determine if Omni should invest in the case and on which terms. However, your job does not end there, you will be involved in the case throughout its lifetime. Your job will have a large amount of variation as you play an important role in all cases handled by the German team. In addition you will work together with Management and Finance globally on case related reporting and ad-hoc analyses. Moreover, as the position is new and part of a fast-growing organization, there will be plenty of room for creativity in filling in the position and leaving your mark. You will have an important  role in i.a.:

  • Assessing the financial feasibility of new cases / investments
  • Assist with success fee proposals
  • Preparing the financials for the investment committee
  • Reviewing and updating of investment budgets and financial case forecasts
  • Quantum calculations
  • Discussions with experts on damages
  • Assessment of settlement offers
  • Case related reporting
  • Ad-hoc analyses

Your profile

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Master’s degree with good grades
  • 4 - 10 years of professional experience in investment management, private equity, finance, mergers & acquisitions, strategy consulting, financial advisory or similar
  • Likes a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
  • Structured with an eye for detail
  • Problem solver
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter
  • Legal affinity
  • Excellent excel skills, preferably with modelling experience
  • Well versed in English and German (Minimum Level B2/C1)
