Associate Investment Manager, Structuring and Financial Analysis

Omni Bridgeway is seeking a financially savvy investment manager to increase the capability of its EMEA and global investment team.

Omni Bridgeway has an established team of investment managers with various capabilities, such as legal experts, financial experts and intelligence experts. There is an increasing demand for litigation and enforcement funding in the EMEA region. You will be working in (international) investment teams and bring in financial and economic know-how. Together with the team you determine if Omni Bridgeway should invest in the case and on which terms. However, your job does not end there, you will be involved in the case throughout its lifetime. In addition, a substantial part of your work will be case related reporting and ad-hoc analyses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing financial analyses and structuring possibilities on pending investments and prospects
  • Assisting with investment related reporting to shareholders, investors and management
  • Performing ad-hoc analyses

RESPONSIBILITIES

Funding applications

  • Financial metrics of applications (including budgets, funding and return structures, risk sharing arrangements)
  • Assisting on quantum analysis
  • Optimizing funding terms and return structures
  • Preparing for the investment committee(s)

Managing funded cases

  • Adding financial input for settlement discussions
  • Preparing and updating claim calculation
  • Assist in updating fair value calculation

Reporting

  • Assist with reporting to fund investors
  • Assist with reporting to shareholders
  • Assist with reporting to management
  • Assist with ad-hoc analyses

Education

  • Master's degree with good grades in economics, finance, physics or similar

Experience and Expertise

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in investment management, private equity, finance, mergers & acquisitions, strategy consulting, financial advisory or similar
  • Excellent Excel skills with modeling experience
  • Knowledge of Power BI and/or Netsuite is an advantage
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in German is a plus
  • Additional languages are a plus
