Key role responsibilities


  • Leadership of the global marketing team, including harmonization and/or alignment of regional marketing approaches under a “one global brand” strategy
  • Oversight of the development and execution of the business development, (including the brand) strategy, competitor research, relationship management, and our pitch and presentation strategies
  • Delivery of external communications (including external media and other stakeholders) and public relations plans and initiatives
  • Event strategy and delivery
  • Ownership of the agreed digital marketing strategy at a network and regional level
  • Provision of marketing expertise from a strategic and operational perspective to key projects

Key role technical and behavioural competencies

  • Strategic Marketing capability across all relevant geographies and functional areas including business development, brand management, competitor intelligence, public relations, digital and media / external communications
  • Sensitivity to relevant differences in cultures and styles across geographies, jurisdictions and industries
  • Commercial acumen pertaining to the business strategy in a professional services environment
  • Superior capability in respect to Digital Marketing strategy and execution
  • Innate people and leadership skills
  • Passionate collaborator across all internal stakeholders
  • Creative and strategic thinker with strong knowledge of current and future marketing trends

Required experience

  • Highly commercial, data-driven marketing leadership experience in legal, financial, or other professional services industry
  • Demonstrated experience in building marketing value propositions aligned to business strategy
  • Experience in leading the marketing strategy across international markets
  • International work experience and proven ability to work across geographies.
  • Digital marketing experience

Required education and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree qualifications in related discipline required
  • Post-Graduate Degree qualifications in business, Legal, commerce or marketing highly desirable
  • Relevant marketing / industry memberships highly desirable
