Alistair Morgan

Alistair Morgan is the General Counsel for Australia and Asia and is based in the Perth office.
He advises the company on transactional and regulatory matters across the Asia Pacific region.
Alistair has extensive experience across law, risk management and compliance as a senior executive, director and company secretary. He has advised large, global financial organisations and has established and operated Fintech/Regtech start-up enterprises.
Prior to joining Omni Bridgeway, Alistair was General Counsel and Company Secretary for Australian Corporate Bond Company Limited (a Fintech start-up and developer of ASX-listed Exchange Traded Bond units) and Co-founder and Director of Max ID Pty Limited, an Australian Regtech company.
Alistair was previously Head of Legal (Institutional Clients Group) at Citigroup, advising on trading, mergers, acquisitions, divestments and capital markets transactions across Australia and New Zealand. He has also advised on regulatory litigation, public-private partnerships and financial services reform.
Alistair has been a strategic adviser to JP Morgan and has held senior legal and leadership roles at UBS Warburg, Macquarie Bank Limited and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) gaining extensive experience in financial markets, corporate governance and compliance, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, financial services regulation and reform.
Alistair holds a Bachelor of Economics from Flinders University, South Australia, a Bachelor of Laws from the Charles Darwin University, Northern Territory and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney.
