Doug Geyser

Doug Geyser is an Associate Investment Manager and Legal Counsel in Omni Bridgeway's Los Angeles office, where he focuses on due diligence on potential investments and provides advice to Omni Bridgeway on matters of US law.
Before joining Omni Bridgeway, Doug practiced law at Stris & Maher LLP, as a member of the firm’s US Supreme Court and appellate practice group. In his early career, Doug served as lead appellate counsel in the Office of the Solicitor General of Texas.
Between his private and government practice, Doug gained extensive experience across matters involving civil procedure, copyright, federal arbitration, ERISA, patents, antitrust, and consumer protection, among other areas. He has worked on over 50 briefs in federal and state courts throughout the country and has co-authored briefs in eight merits cases before the US Supreme Court. He has also argued fifteen times in federal and state appellate courts. In 2020 Doug was elected to the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers.
Doug received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a three-time James Kent Scholar and a Notes Editor for the Columbia Law Review in 2006-2007. Following law school, Doug clerked for The Honorable A. Raymond Randolph of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.
He obtained his B.A. from Stanford University, where he graduated with Departmental Honors in Economics.
