Edward McCullagh

Edward McCullagh is responsible for sourcing, funding and managing international arbitration and commercial litigation matters internationally, with a focus on the EMEA region and on construction disputes.
Before joining Omni Bridgeway, Edward was a senior associate at Allen & Overy LLP, where he advised clients on a broad range of complex corporate, commercial and financial disputes, with an emphasis on international arbitration (both commercial and investment treaty), construction disputes (particularly in the Middle East), and financial disputes.
Edward was based in London before moving to Dubai, and also spent time in Allen & Overy’s international arbitration team in Hong Kong. In addition, he completed client secondments in Japan (at the global headquarters of a leading automotive manufacturer), and the UAE (at the regional headquarters of a global bank, in the DIFC).
Edward was ranked by Legal 500 as a Key Lawyer for Dispute Resolution – Arbitration and International Litigation in 2021 and 2022, with referees describing him as a “star associate”. He has published articles on construction disputes and contract law, and delivered client training on legal risk management for live construction projects.
Edward holds a Bachelors degree in Law and a Master of Laws degree (LLM), both from the University of Cambridge.
