Legal Counsel

Gian Marco Solas is responsible for Omni Bridgeway’s business development in Italy and other southern European countries.

Gian Marco Solas' focus is on collective redress as well as merits and enforcement matters, advising on the deal making process and client relationships under national and EU law. In this capacity, Gian Marco has been instrumental in sourcing and structuring complex and innovative contractual solutions for European cross-border collective redress, insolvency and other third party funded matters. 

Gian Marco brings almost ten years of experience in national and international law firms and as a consultant for a London based litigation fund and the EU Commission. 

Gian Marco is an Italian qualified lawyer. He holds a joint PhD on International, Comparative and European law, and Contract Law from Maastricht and Cagliari University; LL.M. in European Law from the College of Europe. Visiting Scholar at Higher School of Economics, Moscow; Fordham Law School, New York; New York University. Law degree cum laude from the University of Cagliari, prize ‘Cossiga’ for best thesis and grades. He is fluent in Italian, English and French, and has good understanding of Spanish, along colloquial Russian.
