Jason Levine

Jason Levine is an Investment Manager and Legal Counsel at Omni Bridgeway. He heads the Washington D.C. office and leads the company’s antitrust litigation initiative, while also leveraging his commercial litigation experience to analyze and advise on matters for funding.

Jason manages the full litigation funding lifecycle, including sourcing, evaluation, negotiating terms, and monitoring cases through to resolution. He brings to this role over 20 years of experience as lead counsel representing plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes business disputes. Jason’s practice focused on commercial and contract litigation, the defense of nationwide antitrust class actions and prosecuting money claims against the federal government. He tried 14 cases in state and federal courts nationwide and before international arbitral venues. In total, Jason won over $3 billion in relief for plaintiff clients and avoided over $17 billion in potential liability for defendant clients. Jason leverages his extensive first-chair experience to serve as a strategic partner, providing consultation on cases from beginning to end.

Before joining Omni Bridgeway, Jason was a partner at Alston & Bird LLP in Washington, D.C. He previously served as a partner at Vinson & Elkins LLP, and earlier was a partner and head of the Washington, D.C. trial practice at McDermott Will & Emery LLP. Jason started his career in private practice at Covington & Burling LLP. He was perennially ranked in peer-reviewed guides including Best Lawyers in America, SuperLawyers, Legal 500, and Benchmark Litigation.

Jason received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he graduated cum laude and was Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and with High Honors from Brandeis University. After graduating from law school, Jason served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Randall R. Rader on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
