Leanne Meyer is an Investment Manager, based in Omni Bridgeway’s Sydney office.
She is responsible for identifying and assessing investment opportunities and managing funded claims through to resolution.
Leanne is a seasoned practitioner with almost thirty years’ legal experience as a commercial litigator spanning competition and consumer law, corporate compliance and enforcement matters and numerous breach of contract and equitable claims. Leanne spent nearly two decades in private practice at pre-eminent commercial law firms, including Baker McKenzie and Gilbert & Tobin, where she advised clients on ASIC and ACCC investigations and was involved in landmark cases including the HIH Royal Commission and the Brisbane Clem7 tunnel class action.
Most recently, Leanne was General Counsel for RSL NSW, where she was a member of the executive leadership team and led the organisation’s legal, governance and compliance function through a period of significant reform. She represented RSL NSW in the NSW Government Inquiry under the Charitable Fundraising Act, spearheaded an overhaul of the organisation’s constitution and advised stakeholders on a broad range of legal and regulatory issues.
Leanne holds a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. She is an active pro bono contributor to the community and has previously been involved in providing legal assistance to clients of Refugee Advice and Casework Service and Homeless Persons’ Legal Service.
