Investment Manager, Collective Redress

Martijn Rijnhart is an Investment Manager based in the Amsterdam office of Omni Bridgeway where he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and monitoring investments through to resolution. Martijn has a particular focus on collective redress across Europe.

Prior to joining Omni Bridgeway, Martijn was manager of a team at Aegon Levensverzekering, one of the largest pension insurers in the Netherlands, responsible for matters relating to legal, policy and third-party investments. Before joining Aegon, Martijn was an Attorney at BarentsKrans in the Hague specializing in financial litigation. Martijn litigated in individual and collective cases regarding securities, credit ratings and financial instruments.

Martijn holds both an Msc in Economics and an Masters in Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an Executive MBA from Nyenrode Business University. He also finished the Post Graduate Program Securities Laws from the University of Nijmegen and the Certified Pension Lawyer (CPL) program at VU Law Academy Amsterdam.
