Shane Taylor

Shane Taylor is Director of Business Development Australia, focussing on introducing dispute resolution finance to Australia’s corporate decision-makers and influencers.
He is based in the Sydney office and has an Australia-wide remit.
Shane has more than 30 years’ experience in corporate and investment banking, where he forged relationships and contacts throughout the corporate sector. He was most recently a Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking Australia and New Zealand at Citi. In his role, he was accountable for overall business performance and P&L of a portfolio of businesses including the Corporate Bank, the Financial Institutions group and Global Multinationals group.
Before re-joining Citi, Shane acted as corporate/debt advisor to the senior management and Board of ING Real Estate as it sought to refinance substantial debt exposure and recapitalise its stable of multi-billion-dollar Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) following the GFC.
Earlier in his career, Shane was Managing Director, Corporate Finance Australia and New Zealand, CEO and Country Head for TD Securities, where he drove significant growth in the profitability of the bank in the Australian and New Zealand markets. Shane has also headed corporate finance businesses at a major Australian and global bank. These businesses have included debt capital markets, debt syndication, project finance, securitisation, cross-border leverage leasing and structured products.
Shane sat on all Regulatory and Credit committees at both Citi and TD. He was also a key member of Citi’s APAC operating committee based in Hong Kong.
