Aryan Ziaie

Aryan Ziaie is an associate investment manager and legal counsel in Omni Bridgeway’s Toronto office.
Aryan brings expertise in complex class action disputes from his time as a litigator for a leading plaintiff-side class action firm, Koskie Minsky LLP. He has experience at all levels of court in Ontario and British Columbia, and across a range of legal issues, including anticompetitive conduct, product liability, breach of contract, privacy breach, employment misclassification, systemic negligence, and Charter breach class actions. He has also acted as counsel in insolvency proceedings and a range of other complex commercial disputes.
Before joining Omni Bridgeway, Aryan acted as counsel in a multi-week trial concerning the denial of business interruption insurance arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, he helped achieve settlements on behalf of class members in several proceedings, and has in-depth insight into the strategies and tactics that produce high-value settlements for claimants.
Prior to Koskie Minsky LLP, Aryan worked for a leading insolvency and commercial litigation firm in Toronto. Aryan holds an LLB from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and earned his JD from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, where he also received the Joan Lax Memorial Award for Top Oralist in the Warren K. Winkler Class Action Moot. He served on the Executive Committee of Downtown Legal Services, a legal clinic operated by the University of Toronto that provides free legal services to low-income individuals across the city.
