Carrie is an Investment Manager and Legal Counsel for Omni Bridgeway where she leverages her nearly two decades of experience in complex commercial and consumer litigation to advise clients on implementing creative legal funding solutions.

Drawing on her expertise with high stakes litigation and settlement negotiations from her many years as Assistant General Counsel, Litigation & Investigations for Philip Morris International (PMI), Carrie brings a unique understanding of the viability and value of a claim when evaluating and selecting legal risk mitigation strategies. Carrie’s experience as an in-house attorney in a highly regulated industry inform the way she approaches litigation finance. She brings a keen understanding of the pressures and challenges that clients, particularly corporate legal departments, experience.

While at PMI, Carrie managed an extensive docket and drove litigation strategy in a variety of diverse matters including regulatory investigations, cost reimbursement litigation, complex commercial litigation, consumer, and criminal matters spanning jurisdictions in civil and common law countries throughout North America, South America, Asia, and Europe. Carrie also advised executive management on a range of complex issues particularly in areas in which litigation, regulatory, and reputational risk intersect. Before going in-house, Carrie was an associate at Hunton & Williams, LLP where she focused on white collar and product liability cases.

Carrie obtained her J.D., magna cum laude, from Washington and Lee University School of Law where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Washington and Lee Law Review and graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif and Omicron Delta Kappa. Following law school, she clerked for Judge Orinda D. Evans on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and Chief Judge Roger L. Gregory on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Carrie received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Wake Forest University.
