Dr. Martin Metz

Martin Metz is responsible for the originating, funding and managing of investments with a focus on EMEA and Germany.
Based in Cologne, Martin is a member of Omni Bridgeway’s global international arbitration team and responsible for the German speaking arbitration market. He also handles national and cross-border litigation and enforcement matters.
Before joining Omni Bridgeway in 2021, Martin practiced law at DLA Piper and advised clients on large and high-profile cross-border arbitration, litigation and enforcement cases. His experience spans from post M&A disputes, international trade disputes, commercial disputes, energy disputes to construction disputes.
Martin is admitted to both the Cologne and California Bar and lectures on "Transnational Commercial Litigation" at the EBS Law School in Wiesbaden. He graduated with a law degree at the University of Cologne and holds an LL.M. from the French and German Masters-Programme of the University of Cologne and the Université de Paris 1 (Panthéon-Sorbonne). Martin is also recognized by Best Lawyers Arbitration and Litigation as “Ones to Watch in Germany”.
