Lauren Alexander

Lauren Alexander heads Omni Bridgeway’s Miami office, where she manages all aspects of the litigation funding lifecycle as an investment manager and legal counsel.

As head of the Miami office, Lauren works with claimants, attorneys, advisors, and corporate executives to develop financing options across a variety of legal claims, including bankruptcy and restructuring, class action and multidistrict litigation, and commercial disputes. She brings over a decade of litigation experience to Omni Bridgeway, having practiced at Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP, where she focused on complex commercial litigation and corporate restructuring matters. At Weil Gotshal, Lauren also engaged in M&A litigation and counseled clients through a range of complex and novel legal issues relating to class actions, risk assessment and mitigation, contract disputes, business torts, antitrust, fraud, bankruptcy litigation, asset valuation disputes, multidistrict litigation, and internal investigations.

Lauren received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law where she was the Articles and Comments Editor for the University of Miami Law Review and graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif. She obtained her B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business, where she was also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society and a Division I varsity women’s lacrosse athlete.
