Investment Manager Jim Batson will be co-leading a panel at the LMA’s P3 conference entitled “Litigation Financing:  A Potential Game Changer for Risk-Sharing Engagements.”   The second annual 2014 LMA P3 Conference will be bringing together pricing, project management and practice innovation experts from nearly half of the Am Law 200 law firms to explore practical solutions to real issues faced by law firms today.

This program was selected to be presented pursuant to a highly competitive process by the Legal Marketing Association which considers litigation financing a “hot topic” among professionals engaged in the business of law.  Jim Batson will be co-presenting with Charles Agee, the CEO of Westfleet Advisors.  Jim and Charles will be discussing ways in which law firms are using litigation finance as a tool to increase profits, to find new ways to work with clients on AFAs, and to increase institutional acceptance of risk-sharing engagements across their firms. This session will provide an overview of the essential facts that pricing, budgeting, and project management professionals need to know about litigation finance.
