Barbara Miranda
MiamiInvestment Manager, Senior Asset Tracing Specialist
Barbara Miranda is an Investment Manager, Senior Asset Tracing Specialist in Omni Bridgeway’s Miami office and is responsible for providing financial, economic, and legal intelligence in support of prospective and pending enforcement matters in the United States and Latin America.
Barbara works with Omni Bridgeway’s global enforcement team to devise strategies that include analyzing the recoverability of legal claims, identifying and locating high-value assets, and advising on the payment capacity of non-compliant debtors and defendants.
Prior to joining Omni Bridgeway, Barbara was the Director of Investigations and a litigator at Sequor Law where she represented parties in fraud, corruption and business dispute matters and also handled domestic and international judgment enforcement cases. She previously worked at Kroll as a senior associate conducting and managing asset searches, due diligence, location and surveillance investigations, and anti-money laundering compliance reviews.
Barbara obtained her J.D. from Florida International University College of Law where she graduated magna cum laude and was a member of Law Review, the Board of Advocates Negotiation Team, and the Board of Advocates Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Team. During law school, she was a judicial intern for the Honorable Robert N. Scola, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Honorable Michael A. Genden of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court. Barbara obtained her B.A. in Political Science from Florida International University, graduating cum laude.
