Chris is an Investment Manager based in London who specialises in funding complex legal disputes across the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia, with a particular focus on collective redress / class action proceedings and identifying cross-jurisdictional opportunities.
Chris frequently partners with law firms and corporate clients to assess case merits, identify opportunities for funding, and develop strategies to de-risk exposure to ongoing legal disputes. He also develops tailored funding solutions for companies and their investors seeking to improve financial metrics through non-recourse financing and monetisation of their legal assets.
Chris has a proven track record across multiple specialties, including:

Chris was previously a Senior Associate in the leading Australian class actions team at Herbert Smith Freehills, where he advised clients in the financial services, automotive, agrochemical and manufacturing sectors on some of Australia’s most significant legal disputes. Earlier in his career, Chris was an Associate at DLA Piper, where he practised in general commercial litigation and insurance-related disputes.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of Technology, Sydney.
