Francisca Boschma

Francisca has specific expertise with private international law matters and sovereign immunity issues. Francisca is noted for her detailed analysis of complex legal issues and legal drafting skills.

Before joining Omni Bridgeway, Francisca practised law at the major Dutch law firm Derks Star Busmann (now CMS) for seven years where she was a member of the M&A and insolvency departments and specialised in civil litigation. Thereafter, she had her own law firm, worked as legal counsel for BNG Bank, a specialised Dutch financial institution for the public sector, and thereafter for British Petroleum in the Netherlands.

She holds a master's degree in Dutch law from Groningen University, where she focused on civil law and social economic law/competition law. Francisca also holds an LL.M. in International Business and Trade Law from Fordham University, School of Law, New York.
