Fred Bowman

Fred Bowman is an Investment Manager at Omni Bridgeway responsible for underwriting and origination, with a focus on UK litigation and arbitration claims.

Fred brings extensive UK legal finance experience across the full investment lifecycle, including deal origination, legal and commercial due diligence, financial modelling, structuring, negotiation and asset management.

Prior to joining Omni Bridgeway, he held senior investment roles at two leading global litigation finance companies, where he originated and managed a wide range of complex single-case and portfolio investments, including high-value UK commercial, insolvency and securities claims. He is widely recognised within the legal finance industry and has been named one of the Lawdragon 100 Global Leaders in Litigation Finance every year since 2023.

Earlier in his career, Fred trained and qualified as a solicitor at a leading London law firm, where his practice focused on complex UK commercial litigation. He acted on a broad range of disputes including shareholder, creditor, insolvency and joint venture matters, and qualified as a solicitor advocate, appearing as an advocate before the English courts.

Fred holds an MBA (Distinction) from Imperial College London and completed his legal training at the University of Law, following a BA (Hons) from University College London.
