Oscar is responsible for reviewing and assessing potential matters for litigation funding, arbitration funding, enforcement management and funding and claim purchase, including but not limited to collective redress claims, non-performing loans and claim portfolio’s.
With a focus on corporates and quantum, Oscar brings 20 years of investment management experience with strong quantitative, analytical and fundamental valuation skills.
Before joining Omni Bridgeway in 2013, Oscar was with the family office of Banque J. Safra Sarasin in Geneva, Switzerland. He focused on Equity investments in Pharma, Energy and Consumer Staples, investing with a long term investment horizon and a particular focus on capital preservation. Prior to that he worked for a market-neutral special situations hedge fund and a long-short equity hedge fund.
Oscar holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Rotterdam. He subsequently graduated from General Electric’s Financial Management Program (FMP) where he followed six sigma quality training and earned National Honors in Financial Analysis for Operations and Corporate Honors in Strategy.
He is fluent in Dutch, English and French and has a working knowledge of German.
