Peter Galgay

Peter Galgay is the Head of Commercial Strategy and Capital Solutions for Omni Bridgeway and is based in the company’s New York office.

In this role, Peter focuses on expanding the company’s capabilities in the origination, underwriting, and management of large‑scale alternative investment structures for legal assets. This includes equity, credit, insurance, and other structured finance solutions that require tailored risk and capital structuring, often involving dedicated co‑investment partnerships. In addition to his strategic responsibilities, he plays a key role in supporting Omni Bridgeway’s global investor relations and capital formation efforts. He works closely with capital markets participants to deepen relationships that enhance investment origination, fund capital formation, and shareholder engagement.

Prior to joining Omni Bridgeway, Peter served 10+ years as Chief Investment Officer of a Singapore-based family office. In addition to managing a global portfolio of investments spanning public and private markets, he was responsible for overall asset allocation and risk management. During that time, Peter gained invaluable insights into the legal finance sector via a variety of experiences, including direct equity and credit investments in litigation funders, limited partner allocations to funds, and as a claimant in a funded dispute. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Senior Analyst within Ernst & Young’s Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services practice and later as an Equity Portfolio Manager at Deutsche Asset Management.

Peter is a CFA Charterholder and holds an MA in International Business from the University of Florida and an MBA from INSEAD. He graduated with Honors from the University of Florida with a BS in Finance.
