Pierre-Jérôme Bouchard

Pierre-Jérôme (PJ) Bouchard is an Investment Manager and Legal Counsel responsible for Omni Bridgeway's operations in Quebec.
He provides claimants and counsel with strategic advice and analysis at all stages of their cases.
Prior to launching Omni Bridgeway's Montreal office, PJ was a partner at McCarthy Tétrault LLP, where he conducted trials and appeals and advised clients on a wide variety of high-profile matters. Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, PJ practiced in litigation at New York-based firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. PJ's areas of expertise include product liability, securities fraud, intellectual property, breach of contract, antitrust and arbitrations.
PJ obtained his law degree from the Université Laval in 2003 where he graduated first of his class and his Master of Law degree from Columbia University in 2005. Before entering private practice, he served as a law clerk to the Honourable Justice Louis LeBel of the Supreme Court of Canada. PJ was called to the Quebec Bar in 2006 and to the New York Bar in 2007.
He is ranked by Chambers and Partners in their 2023 - 2026 Litigation Support Guides as one of only three Band 1and in 2022 PJ was recognized as one of three Band 2 individuals nationwide for Litigation Funding in Canada. He is also recognized from 2022 - 2026 in the Who’s Who Legal: Thought Leaders – Third Party Funding Guide.
