William Vigen

William Vigen is an Investment Manager & Legal Counsel at Omni Bridgeway, where he leads the company’s antitrust initiatives. With more than 15 years of experience, he brings extensive trial expertise in antitrust litigation and government investigations to all investment opportunities.
William spent the first nine years of his legal career at Williams & Connolly litigating a number of cases to trial and maintaining a focus on antitrust litigation. He then served as a trial attorney in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he litigated criminal prosecutions to trial and led major investigations against corporations and executives. Prior to joining Omni Bridgeway, William was an antitrust partner at Venable where he represented clients in complex, high-stakes antitrust matters and advised on strategic antitrust compliance and competitor collaborations.Before entering private practice, William served as a law clerk to the Honorable M. Blane Michael of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served on the managing board of the Virginia Law Review. He holds a B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude, from the University of South Carolina Honors College.
