Meet the Team: Spotlight on Allison Chock

Allison

Bentham IMF’s Los Angeles office is headed up by Investment Manager Allison Chock.

Allison grew up in Hawaii, where she attended Punahou School, which boasts fellow alums President Barack Obama, actress Kelly Preston, dancer Carrie Ann Inaba, and Senator Brian Schatz, among others.

Allison then studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, and later received her B.A. in French literature from UC Santa Barbara.  She received her J.D. from the College of William & Mary’s Marshall-Wythe School of Law, where she ranked first on the National Trial Team, was on the W&M Law Review, and was named to the Order of Barristers.

Allison began her legal career as a litigation associate at a top 5 AmLaw 100 firm in Southern California.  Before joining Bentham, Allison was an equity partner in a boutique firm of trial lawyers for more than ten years.  There, she specialized in pursuing plaintiffs’ claims in large, complex contingent-fee cases, making her particularly well-suited to serve the funding needs of both individual and corporate claimants.

A self-proclaimed gourmande, Allison enjoys sampling L.A.’s newest restaurants surrounded by the company of good friends.
