Bentham IMF’s Jim Batson to Speak on a Panel Discussion at the IP Finance 2015 Conference

On May 14, 2015, Bentham’s Jim Batson will be speaking at the IP Finance 2015 Conference taking place at the New York Palace Hotel.   The program is entitled “IP Litigation:  The New Business of Litigation Finance,” and will address the use of commercial litigation finance in the arena of intellectual property litigation to manage costs and spread risk, as well as to discuss patent litigation as an asset class. Representatives from Burford Capital, Gerchen Keller, Document Security Systems and McKool Smith will also be participating in this informative panel discussion.

The IP Finance 2015 conference, organized by Premier Cercle, Institutional Investment Magazine and Managing Intellectual Property aims to enhance awareness of various topics critical to the financial community by showcasing and discussing the best practices from patent holders, entities, investors, bankers, financiers, PE, firms, regulators, plaintiffs and defendants which make the most of their immaterial assets and intangible capital.  The organizers behind the 2015 conference believe that this inventive approach to IP – as a new cornerstone of corporate finance – is an upward trend that will gain traction to those that comprehend it.
