Meet the Team: Spotlight on Matt Harrison

Bentham IMF recently expanded its litigation finance operations into the Bay Area with Matt Harrison at the helm.  Prior to joining Bentham, Matt gained 15 years of litigation experience at top-tier firm Latham & Watkins, where his practice focused on representing clients in a wide variety of securities and M&A litigation matters, as well as numerous other complex commercial cases.

He earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where he was Editor of the UCLA Law Review, and graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif.  Matt received his B.A. in Business Administration from University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, with concentrations in finance and marketing.

Matt is not all work and no play.  He enjoys spending his down time watching any and all sporting events that come across ESPN, lending most of his support towards the Washington Huskies and the San Francisco Giants.  In addition to being an avid sports fan – including hours of youth sports attendance every weekend – Matt enjoys golfing and spending time taking his family skiing and fly-fishing.

Matt resides in Piedmont, CA with his three children and wife Calley (former lawyer, turned law firm associate development manager, turned soccer mom extraordinaire) where he regularly cooks gourmet dinners for his family on the weekends.
