Bentham Presents to the American Arbitration Association on the Ethics of Litigation Finance
On September 14, 2016, Matthew Harrison and Priya Pai of Bentham’s San Francisco office provided a CLE presentation to the American Arbitration Association (AAA) on a number of hot topics related to litigation finance, including ethics, control over settlement, and automatic disclosure. The Bentham team also spoke about how litigation finance came about and how the funding process works, with a focus on settlement arbitration provisions.
The program was attended in-person and online by AAA mediators, arbitrators and executives across the west coast.
