Raymond van Hulst, Omni Bridgeway’s Executive Director, Managing Director - EMEA said “Martin, Anna-Maria and Camilla each bring exceptional skills and experience to complement the Omni Bridgeway team and extend our diversified dispute funding platform. With their talent and networks, we are able to offer clients even more on-the-ground expertise and jurisdictional knowledge. These hires reinforce Omni Bridgeway’s strategy of offering global funding solutions supported by local knowledge, networks and cultural awareness. We are delighted to welcome them to the team.”
Anna-Maria Quinke, Investment Manager and Senior Legal Counsel (Cologne), is an antitrust litigation specialist who spent over 10 years at Clifford Chance acting for clients on domestic, international and cross border disputes. Anna-Maria focused on antitrust investigations, enforcement and defence of follow-on claims related to cartels or abuse of dominant market positions and is therefore the perfect completion for the EMEA and German cartel team.
Dr Martin Metz, Investment Manager and Senior Legal Counsel (Cologne), joins from DLA Piper, where he specialised in cross-border legal disputes in arbitration proceedings and commercial litigation advising clients in the automotive, energy, technology and insurance sectors. Prior to DLA Piper, Martin spent two years as visiting scholar at the University of California Berkeley School of Law, where he worked on his PhD in private international law. He is admitted to both the Cologne and California Bar and lectures on "Transnational Commercial Litigation" at the EBS (European Business School) University in Wiesbaden. Joining in March, Martin will strengthen the EMEA and German team to focus on the expansion of Omni Bridgeway’s Arbitration practice in German speaking countries.
Camilla Godman, Investment Manager (London), is a cross-border disputes lawyer and qualified arbitrator with over 18 years’ experience. Camilla was previously at Ashurst LLP, firstly in London and then Singapore. She later became Deputy Registrar at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). Immediately prior to joining Omni Bridgeway, Camilla was a Director at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) where she established its APAC Office and led the growth and development of the global membership. Joining mid-February, Camilla will be responsible for originating, assessing and managing funded cases internationally but with a focus on EMEA and the UK.
